Q: What is the Ringette Rumble?
A: The Ringette Rumble is an annual spring ringette tournament hosted by the Fearless Ring Masters. It provides players from U10 to U14 the opportunity to compete in a fun, challenging, and skill-building environment.
Q: When and where is the tournament held?
A: The tournament runs annually in May. For the 2026 year, our tournament will run from April 30 – May 3, 2026 at the Pownal Sports Centre at 145 Pownal Road, Pownal, PEI.
Q: Who can participate?
A: Teams in the U10, U12, and U14 divisions are welcome. We hope to expand to U16 and U19 in coming years. Players must be have valid insurance. If your player's age falls outside the standard range for your division, please contact Mitch MacLean at 902-314-0982 to discuss a possible exception.
Q: Are the games live streamed?
A: While we do not provide the live streaming you can access the live games if you have a LiveBarn account (paid subscription). The Pownal Sports Centre is equipped with LiveBarn on both ice surfaces, allowing all games to be streamed live and watched from anywhere. Friends and family who can’t attend in person can catch every play online.

Q: How are divisions structured?
A: Divisions are grouped by age: U10, U12, and U14. Exact divisions may be adjusted depending on the number of registered teams. To ensure a great competition, each division must have at least 5 teams.
Q: What is the tournament format?
A: Each team is guaranteed 4 games, with each game consisting of 2 x 15-minute stop-time periods.
Q: Is there a skills competitions?
A: Yes! A limited number of players per team can participate in individual skills competitions.
Q: What equipment is required?
A: Players must wear full ringette gear. Including shoulder pads and ringette-approved gloves.
Registration
Q: How do we register a team?
A: Team registration is completed online through our Registration Form. You will need to provide team details, proof of insurance, and pay the registration fee.
Q: What is the registration fee?
A: The total tournament fee is $1,400 per team. A $500 deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
Q: What is the registration deadline?
A: Registration closes January 31st or when divisions reach capacity. Teams are encouraged to register early to guarantee placement.
Q: Can we submit insurance documents later?
A: Yes. Teams must submit insurance documentation no later than February 1, 2026. Teams without proof of insurance by this date will not be eligible to play.
Q: What if our team needs insurance?
A: Teams can obtain coverage through: iPlayHockey – Team Insurance.
Q: I don’t have a team. Can I still play in the Ringette Rumble?
A: Yes! This year, we’re introducing Rumble United — a tournament-only team for individual players who don’t have a full team. More details to come!
Q: Are spectators allowed?
A: Absolutely! Families and fans are encouraged to attend and cheer on the teams.
Q: Can businesses sponsor the tournament?
